The 25th edition of the Trade Fair for Sanitation, Heating, Air Conditioning and Renewable Energies was characterised by the good mood in the sector. The exhibitors at and visitors to Messe Essen showed that they were equally satisfied with how the fair had gone. "SHK ESSEN 2014 has provided new impetus and will inspire the sector," was the unanimous tenor.
On the occasion of its silver anniversary on March 12 - 15, 2014, SHK ESSEN once more proved to be the most important sectoral meeting place of the year. At Messe Essen, 560 exhibitors from 15 countries showed a comprehensive overview of the market. The dominant subjects were energy-efficient modern heating technology, innovative bathroom design for all generations, air conditioning and ventilation installations which are appropriate for the needs and hygienically flawless as well as effective solutions for drinking water hygiene. 48,200 trade visitors from commerce and skilled trades as well as specialist planners, architects and experts from the housing industry used the trade fair as an information and ordering platform. Nearly 90 percent of the exhibitors were satisfied with their business success at the fair.
